Ezhan E300 Helps Upgrade SMT Magazine Transfer

Oct 29, 2026

In SMT electronics workshops, magazine material transfer has long suffered an often-overlooked management pain point: the high cost does not come from the physical handling itself, but from the lack of visibility. Materials keep moving while production data falls behind; production lines run continuously, yet managers can only assess material status based on delayed reports. Targeting this industry challenge, Ezhan launches its standard E300 AMR to break the hidden logistics chain for SMT magazine handling, and transform the transfer model from manual "hands-on oversight" to real-time digital kanban management.

In traditional SMT magazine transfer workflows, operations rely heavily on on-site workers. Transfer rhythms depend on operators' status, material availability is logged manually, and material shortages require multi-layered communication for confirmation. This creates a data gap: materials are on the move, but data stands still; production lines keep running, while management waits for reports. Poor material visibility and slow response directly hurt line-side kitting and production stability.

Built for SMT magazine frame transfer, the standard Ezhan E300 AMR offers a 300 kg payload and can carry magazine frames directly. Adopting trackless autonomous navigation, it requires no magnetic strips or QR codes. A single on-site mapping mission generates a full workshop map. Deployment needs no ground modification or production shutdown. The robot navigates flexibly in narrow aisles and autonomously connects magazine storage, buffer zones and production stations for fast deployment.

More than a handling vehicle, the E300 acts as a data collection gateway for workshop logistics. Its dispatching system integrates with MES, WMS, ERP and other upper-level business systems. Every pick-up and handover by the robot generates a standardized data node. Instead of manually compiling rough updates, managers view a visual dashboard showing real-time status: magazines in transit, stations waiting for materials, and lines at risk of stock-outs. The whole transfer flow is visible on one screen, cutting manual workload while boosting full logistics transparency.

Ezhan specializes in custom autonomous mobile robots for diverse scenarios. Deployed in SMT magazine workflows, the E300 delivers value beyond labor replacement. Every material movement becomes traceable, monitorable management evidence, helping electronics manufacturers close gaps in in-plant logistics digitalization and achieve transparent production logistics control.
