How the E300 Follow Module Improves On-Site Efficiency

Traditional warehouse picking requires operators to shuttle back and forth between storage racks and transport robots, wasting plenty of labor and time. After installing our UWB follow module on E300 AMR, staff only need to wear the matched tracking wristband: the robot will automatically follow the operator's movement alongside racks. Workers can directly place picked goods onto the robot without extra walking trips, largely reducing redundant manual handling work and boosting overall picking throughput.

Equipped with DW3220 UWB single-chip PDOA positioning solution, the follow module features ±5cm distance measurement accuracy and ±5° angle precision, supporting a 120° wide tracking range. Different from traditional multi-base station positioning systems, this single-base-station design lowers deployment costs and shortens installation time, perfectly fitting small and medium-sized factories as well as large-scale automated warehouses. The device carries industrial anti-interference performance to adapt complex workshop environments with motors and frequency converters, with real-time 100Hz coordinate output to ensure smooth, stutter-free following movement.

The supporting tracking wristband comes with multi-color indicator lights to display connection status, follow mode and fault alarms, with simple one-button operation that requires minimal staff training. The compact base station (548416mm) can be easily mounted on E300 AMR, with plug-and-play connection and seamless compatibility with the robot's native control system.
