Ezhan Medicine Delivery Robot Deployed in Hospitals For Multi-point Intelligent In-hospital Medicine Transportation

Sep 19, 2026

Recently, the Ezhan medicine delivery robot has been officially put into service in hospital scenarios. Powered by mature LiDAR SLAM autonomous navigation technology, it connects pharmacies, nurse stations, wards and other multiple delivery points, building a safe, efficient and traceable automated in-hospital medicine delivery solution to accelerate the digital upgrading of hospital logistics.

Traditional manual medicine delivery in hospitals relies on staff pushing carts, which brings high labor costs, unstable delivery timelines and cumbersome handover procedures. Manual transfer also risks medicine mix-ups or loss. Especially during peak hours, nurses spend a great deal of time on material delivery work, leaving less time for direct patient care.

Custom-built for hospital environments, the Ezhan medicine delivery robot features 4 independently lockable storage compartments. Separated compartments allow classified storage of oral medications, injections and medical consumables. Independent compartment doors secure medicines and prevent mix-ups or loss. The top touchscreen enables medical staff to assign delivery tasks, check real-time delivery status and complete identity verification for compartment unlocking.

The robot supports autonomous route planning for multi-point delivery. It can travel between pharmacies, multiple nurse stations and wards across departments and wards. It automatically avoids pedestrians and obstacles, adapting to complex indoor hospital environments including corridors and elevators. Medical staff only need to set the starting point and multiple target delivery points on the terminal. The robot will sequentially complete relay deliveries. All delivery records are automatically saved, and the full medicine circulation data is traceable to comply with hospital medicine management regulations.

The robot features simple deployment. Thanks to LiDAR SLAM technology, no building renovation is required, and map construction can be finished within 30 minutes for rapid commissioning. It can perform transfer tasks round-the-clock, replacing repetitive manual errands. This frees medical staff from material transportation so they can focus more on patient diagnosis and care.

As introduced, this medicine delivery robot has completed scenario verification in multiple medical institutions. Customizable compartment capacity and scheduling system integration are supported to connect with existing hospital information systems, meeting multi-point material circulation demands of hospitals of all sizes. Going forward, Ezhan will continue to deepen its presence in the medical mobile robot sector, optimize in-hospital logistics solutions, and empower the development of smart hospitals with robotic technology.
